Hristoase, Tie, pentru Lumea Toata –
Ce ani amari, cand Te mai rog, sa-mi fie,
Pe Lumea Toata, bine, intai mie …
Cand am ajuns la ani fara putere,
Tot ce-as fi dat la toti, intreaga miere
A vietii – cat mai am in mine crez -
Te rog doar pentru mine s-o pastrez…
N-am slugi. Si in afara de puterea
Cu care –mi iau, din lumea toata, mierea –
Nu stiu ce singur iau, si ce imi dai:
E Iadul fiecarei zi, un Rai.
Si ar putea, pe lume, sa imi fie
Stapani si Dumnezei, o grozavie –
Si poate de aceea eu, neghiob,
Te-aleg ca Rege: fiindca imi esti rob.
