Te iubesc pe tine,
Mai mult decât pe-oricine.
Dar vrei sa-ti spun, acum,
Ce esti tu, mama, pe pamânt?
O zâna gratioasa,
O fata preafrumoasa,
Un înger necajit,
Un om nefericit.
Fecioara mica,
Lacrima pitica,
O inima zdrobita,
O flacara topita.
O floare ofilita,
O Doamna umilita,
O cruce uitata,
O stea colorata.
Padure retezata,
Nadejde spulberata,
Trandafir gatit,
Porumbel ranit.
Astfel te-as numi,
Dac-ai vrea sa stii,
Cum ar trebui sa fii
Numita de copii.
