Se frang copacii de furtuna,
si praful alb pluteste-n zari,
cu geamat scurt ofteaza vantul
si lacrimi are bolta-n nori.
Ce ravasita e natura,
nimic din ce era sublim,
se zvarcoleste-n agonie,
o, Doamne sfinte, ce destin!
Cu serpi de foc se-ncinge cerul
si clocoteste-n spume marea,
in tunet hohoteste zarea,
doar muntele-i nebiruit.
Lacrimi calde cerul cerne
si in liniste le-asterne-n noapte,
pe fereastra-n lungi suvoaie
se preling lacrimi de ploaie
si e liniste-n odaie.
In culori de smalt pestrite
se trezesc poienele,
mandrul Soare le surade,
mijind usor genele.
